Snow day!
We have not had this much snow since so long ago! People are talking about global warming, but it does not seem to be getting warmer, does it? And I have had two snow days so far! Last year and the year before that and the year before that I didn’t even have one! There is also a blizzard warning! I thought it was getting warmer! It’s supposed to be getting warmer! In some towns they don’t even have snow this year! Like in Colorado Vail, they showed “unusually bare peaks”. And Utah Salt Lake City recently broke a 135-year record for the longest stretch without an inch of snow! Along with Park City which has received only 85 inches compared to its 300-inch average! It is just so confusing!
Besides from that I have been having a pretty good time my weekend has been nice I went to sleep over at my friends house for her birthday. We played games, did face masks, and watched Modern Family. I slept over at my Grandma’s the next night. My grandpa and I love to play monopoly (yes monopoly the worlds longest game) each time I stay at their house we play together I am currently beating him 2-4. Apart from that, in my school we have currently been reading this book “Crispin” It is a book about a 13 year old boy who is very poor, his mom died and he is accused for stealing something he didn’t. He soon becomes a wolf’s head which means he can be killed upon sight. It was brutal times back then!
Anyway, let me know what you did this weekend! I hope you have the best week. Stay warm, for kids, have an amazing time at school! Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Hi Zoe
Soooo much snow up here too….. it’s now piled so high it’s hard to see when u need to turn the corner.
We lived on a Main Street growing up so instead of digging out the car so many people would be walking past our house to the train station which was miles away! It was so great when there was no school! We would take our sleds and have so much fun!
When Peka was in school he was very interested in the weather so one day all the kids on the bus asked him what the weather was going to be the next day because they were having tests. So he thought they would have a snow day and told them they shouldn’t bother studying! Guess what? The kids didn’t study and the snow day didn’t happen!! He never lived that down! He still talks about that and he’s almost 80 years old!
We love your writing. You make everything sound so interesting and fun!
Love you so much!! G and P
